Areas of Focus & How Shawn Helps

Shawn focuses on practical, trust-based estate planning designed to protect families, reduce risk, and simplify the future. His plans are clear, flexible, and built to adapt as laws change and life evolves.

His work includes:

Trust-Based Estate Planning

Helping families use revocable and irrevocable trusts to avoid probate, maintain privacy, minimize tax burdens, and ensure assets are transferred smoothly and according to their wishes.

Wills & Powers of Attorney

Ensuring trusted decision-makers are clearly identified and legally empowered, so families are protected during incapacity or after death.

Asset Protection & Long-Term Care Planning

Safeguarding homes, savings, and lifetime wealth from the high cost of long-term care, unexpected health care events, lawsuits, and unnecessary taxes.

Medicaid & Veterans Planning

Guiding families through both proactive planning and crisis situations to help preserve assets while qualifying for available benefits.

Business Succession & Exit Planning

Helping business owners plan for continuity, transition, or sale while aligning family, tax, and legacy goals.

Probate & Trust Administration

Assisting families, trustees, and fiduciaries in navigating the legal process efficiently and with as little stress as possible.

Shawn avoids legal jargon and “cookie-cutter” solutions. Instead, he focuses on solving real problems—protecting assets from loss, ensuring loved ones are cared for, minimizing delays and expenses, and providing clarity when it matters most.
